Professional Engineering Services Ltd was founded in 2006 by electrical engineer Wesley Brown.
Having worked across pharmaceutical, petrochemical, agrochemical and the paper mill industries, PES Ltd was set up to specialise in hazardous environments.
The company, based in Ashford, Kent, has grown from a start-up working on smaller and sub-contracted jobs, to a large one working on projects across the UK, that is recognised across the industry as a leader in managing hazardous projects.
Safety of the workforce is what we prioritise over anything else, followed by compliance, to ensure all work is completed to the highly regulated frameworks and standards required.
We are able to design and deliver projects, or work as part of a larger collaboration.
Wesley Brown started his career as an electrical engineer in 1994, working with two main employers – ICEL and Aylesford Newsprint.
Over the next 12 years before setting up PES Ltd, he gained experience, qualifications, and worked on a vast number of projects – both planned and emergency, to ensure safe, compliant electrical engineering.
Always keen to develop and learn, Wesley has undertaken specialist training to carve himself and his company out as the experts and specialists, who are also nice people to work with – an important value within the business.
Having realised a talent for innovation, collaboration, project management and people management, Wes decided to start his own company, to provide a specialist, reliable and trusted partnership to companies looking for project support or full project management.
Realising some of the industry issues of comprehensive record keeping, he has also invested in technology that makes their area of their business quick and easy – documents are available at the touch of a button.
